How does the Aquapure treatment work?
First, the treatment areas are thoroughly cleansed. The first handpiece of the Aquapure device from SHR-Germany is pen-shaped and is used to exfoliate dry and dead skin cells. Additionally, impurities and sebum are suctioned out of the pores using a vacuum.
To loosen and remove the impurities, various exfoliating solutions are applied to the skin. These include fruit acids and salicylic acid, which effectively cleanse the skin and loosen the upper stratum corneum. The solutions help moisturize the skin and have an antibacterial effect.
In addition to removing impurities, the Aquapeeling reduces pigmentation spots. Scars can also be treated with it. A third solution containing high-quality nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants nourishes the skin and stimulates the body’s own production of collagen and elastin to achieve a firming and lifting effect.
Additional optional treatment steps for skin rejuvenation
Electroporation: Radio waves are delivered to the tissue via a special handpiece. These open the protein channels in the cell walls. This makes the skin more receptive to important nutrients and care substances. This positively influences the natural firming of the area.
Ion lifting: Controlled direct current stimulates the skin tissue. At the same time, this treatment step strengthens the skin’s musculature and improves skin elasticity. Ion lifting also promotes blood circulation, lymphatic flow, and metabolism. This ensures the area is optimally supplied with oxygen and nutrients. This stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, making the skin appear firm and plump.
Cooling/Heating: The device’s cooling/heating handpiece utilizes cold and heat effects. The heat opens the pores, which improves microcirculation. The treatment time depends on the specific steps involved and the size of the treatment area. For example, if the neck and décolleté are treated in addition to the face, this will affect the total duration of the treatment accordingly. On average, an Aquapure treatment lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.
Initially, it is advisable to undergo two to three cosmetic treatments. The individual sessions are scheduled approximately one to two weeks apart. This is the best way to treat skin imperfections, fine lines, and a dull complexion. For lasting results, the Aquapure treatment can be repeated approximately every four to six weeks to maintain or refresh the effects.
Algae: Algae promote blood circulation and help regulate the skin’s moisture levels. They also activate cell renewal and stimulate metabolism. This makes the skin more resilient and firmer. Algae also help drain excess fluid from the tissue and counteract inflammation.
Propolis: Propolis is a special resin produced by bees. It supports regeneration processes and has a positive effect on tissue repair. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Centella Asiatica: Also known as Asian pennywort, tiger grass, or Gotu Kola. It is characterized by strong antibacterial and wound-healing properties.
Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of connective tissue. The acid has the ability to bind large amounts of fluid. In this way, it supports the skin’s moisture balance and contributes to greater firmness, strength, and elasticity.
Papaya: Papaya has a high vitamin C content and is rich in vitamin A, vitamin E, and beta-carotene. These important antioxidants stimulate collagen production, protect cells from free radicals, and make the skin appear firmer and more radiant.
Oats: Oats contribute to the health of the skin tissue and help maintain firm skin.
Immediately following the treatment, patients can leave the clinic and resume their normal daily activities. No restrictions or downtime are expected. The procedure is extremely gentle and does not cause any discomfort. Only slight redness may be temporarily visible.
