How does the treatment work?
A Venus Viva™ MD treatment takes about 30 minutes, depending on skin type, reason for treatment, and body area. First, the treatment area is numbed with an anesthetic cream to make the procedure as pain-free as possible. Since the treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and is very well tolerated, there is no downtime. Only mild redness may occur at the treatment site in those with more sensitive skin. However, this usually fades completely within one to three days. The face, neck, and décolleté are particularly well-suited for treatment with the Venus Viva™ MD.
Post-Treatment Guidelines for Venus Viva™ MD
In the first three days following the treatment, you should avoid sunbathing and exfoliating the treated area. After that, you can resume your usual skincare routine or wear makeup. Our physician will be happy to provide further details during your consultation.
How often does one need to undergo treatment to achieve the optimal effect?
An individual treatment plan is developed for each patient during the initial consultation and examination with the specialist. Expect approximately 3 to 5 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart to give your skin the necessary time to regenerate and renew itself naturally.
